Chung Wah

We were strolling in Jayanagar 4th block and our urge to have Chinese food ended after looking at Zomato rating.

It was 8 PM, the street looked deserted and dark, there was a big banyan tree just opposite to restaurant.  The entry of the restaurant was disappointing. Let's find out the rest.

Cuisine: Chinese

Address:  63, 18th Cross, 3rd Block, Above Java City, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560011

Let the Saga begins

We started with Starters (Chilli Crispy Vegetables and Veg Manchow Soup). The service was good and staff of the restaurant were smiling and prompt.

Soup and Chilli Crispy Vegetables were both not fresh. The soup tasted like made from ready to consume powder and Vegetables disappointed us.

Our expectation dropped after consuming starters and we ordered safest dishes in restaurant.

Main course

Sauce was Mashroom Chilli
Fried Rice and Steam Rice

Fried Rice has abundance of  mattar or peas and sprinkle of carrot. Appeared to us like Peas Pulao (refer to Recipe)

By the way you can find fresh Peas at www.zopnow.com or www.bigbasket.com or at ww.motherdairy.com. Our preference is always Safal Peas when we cool Pulao

Food Quality:  The food was a mess. Nothing had a fresh feeling. I expect Chinese food to have lot of vegetables. It should be easy to identify what you are consuming.

Service: I liked the service of restaurant, the only thing which grabbed our interest to sit in the place was service and terrace.

Final words: Edible but can not relish

Recommendation:  Go with lower expectation.
