Thai food is one among the most popular types of cuisines that you will find anywhere in the world.

All right, its dinner time and I am passing by HSR layout and we are at Calvin's.
Calvin's ambiance welcomes you to get in and explore them. To my surprise this Mysore based bakery now serves you food from across the globe. You name a cuisine and they have it in their list. After a brainstorming session our order was:
- A chocolate cake
- Spicy Spinach Soup and
- Vegetarian Red Thai Curry Rice.
Chocolate cake
I guess the chocolate cake was good as my son Aarav finished it all. I was not allowed to even taste it.

Spicy Spinach Soup
Quantity and quality complemented each other. The soup has thick texture and was rich in cream content. It had no artificial color added and was served with well baked garlic bread.
We loved the soup and recommended you. I promise you will love it too.
Vegetarian Red Thai Curry Rice
The Curry was served with Salad, Grilled Paneer (cottage cheese) and Rice. The serving was enough for one person. We shared the dish as we were not sure of the taste and we were in the restaurant without any recommendation.
The curry was full of vegetables. Calvin's chef definitely needs to learn the art of cooking Thai Curry.
We just could not finish it. Usually the spice level of red curry is higher but the curry was bland.
I do not recommend you Thai Curry at Calvin's.
Calvin's menu has a good pick of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options and definitely has more than what you see here. Obviously a restaurant cannot be best in serving all the cuisines.

Cost: We paid around 300 Rs for a portion of meals and a piece of cake.

My Recommendation: No – All blame goes to the Thai curry's preparation, though the soup and cake satisfied our taste buds.
